you can never get ahold of them. its a waste of time. i heard so many bad things about them from other people. and when i tried to get my babby formula i was on the phone for 45 mins and never got ahold of anyone

Although I greatly appreciate the services provided by WIC getting a hold of them is a nightmare for scheduling rescheduling and or questions. It's pretty sad that they are supposed to be the ones available for helping Women infants and children and you can't even get a hold of them to make an appointment and when you leave messages like it Asks over and over and over again you never get a callback but they are real quick to say you missed your appointments when the reason you left the voice message to start with was to reschedule and never received a callback. Again grateful for the services but this place is a disorganized mess which is especially pitiful being as it's a government run facility. Not to mention the facility itself is filthy I was afraid to have my premature son there for fear of him getting sick or some kind of infection. Again pitiful and very very sad that that's what we have to rely on for assistance from our government. The women at the front desk are fairly nice except the one older one with salt and pepper hair (should have looked for a name my stupidity) she was just blatantly rude and very ignorant when I addressed the fact that it was filthy and the hospital had told me that I was not to have my son in the waiting room I was to tell them that I needed to be placed in the back away from the germs she was not understanding at all and actually refused to do it until some kid continue to touch my child and I had to threaten both him and his mother then all the sudden it was a different tune and when she finally did listen she was very very rude and again blatantly rude and very ignorant. when I addressed the fact that it was filthy and the hospital had told me that I was not to have my son in the waiting room I was to tell them that I needed to be placed in the back away from the germs and people and little kids she was not understanding at all.
