We had to pay an unexpected $420 bill. My parents bought a bike for around $5-6k. My father was adamant about covering every aspect of the bike so he bought all sorts of insurance bringing up the total to around $10k. One of the insurances we bought was an Extended Service Coverage or something. Keyword "Service". We brought the bike in for Scheduled Maintenance. We were asked to pay $420 for the service and we feel mislead. We assumed with the Extended Service Coverage, and the way scheduled maintenances work with our cars, where the service is covered, that we would just drop off the bike. It's upsetting how they chose to bill us, instead of extending a hand in understanding. We did not cut any corners, showed them good faith, purchased the bike and thousands in insurance, and covered the bike completely, we thought. To the General Manager we explained, that we were adamant about covering every aspect of the bike so we bought thousands in coverage. We saw "Extended Service" so we thought service was covered. We reasonably believed that "Scheduled Maintenance" works just like it does for our cars, so we would bring it in an not get billed on top of having all this insurance. And the misleading wording of "Scheduled Maintenance" sounds as if Harley had set a date to take care of our bike. The General Manager said the best he could do was knock of $60, on $420, after everything I said. After I continuously expressed my disappointment, he raised the small discount to $70. The General Manager explained that this was the best he could do, that he was discounting labor which he never does for anyone. But I asked questions and found there was more they could do. The General Manager revealed there was $20 for fluids, that he did not discount. It felt as if I was negotiating my way to an outcome rather than being supported and understood after all of the facts, intentions, and good business we brought them.

Awesome selection of Motorcycles, Brandon one of the Sales Representatives for Harley Davidson was great guy to talk too, my first Motorcycle is between the Indian and the Harley Davidson. Coming into the dealership made my choice easier. As soon as I get my motorcycle license I would like to purchase the Harley Davidson Nightster. That fat boy is awesome too, reminds me of Terminator lol. Ducati Motorcycles are nice as well adjacent to the Harley Davidson Dealership.

Just bought my first bike at the district Harley! Enjoyed every minute of the process. The staff there are incredible and super friendly! They helped me test ride and pick out a bike best for me! Special thanks to John, Matt , David, mike and Kim! I can’t remember the man in the service departments name but shoutout to everyone for making me feel confident and excited in my purchase!

Planning on being there
No. Try Frederick, baltimore, Annapolis or old glory or the local community colleges.
No.
Both, but it might be a tough sell in January. Unless you really need to sell fast, I would wait until spring. If you want market value, sell it to a rider - dealerships buy wholesale so they can sell it at market value.
Yes they are open til 5 today
This is one of those, of yoi have to ask...
