June 2021 I’ve decided to sober up. I needed help and, I was fully “Aware” that it was dangerous to do so, alone. I recalled my best friend going thru a program that helped him get clean. Which I honestly didn’t believe he would. And now he is. We traveled down the same road I introduced him to. That, also was introduced to me. Because he’s sober now. He’s Aware I needed the same care he received to become that. I was ready to take that step to clean my filth. So I reached out to Aware Recovery and before I knew It. A team was set in place for me. Real organized, very professional, and for the most part, honest. Inhome detox for a week or two with a nurse to monitor me during withdrawal. And 3 great people that walked with me down a sober road damn near everyday for 1 Year with Dave, Donna, and Pete. There’s no plans for me in the future to live toxic. If I ever did slip up. Place me with that team because We all understood our goals. And it wasn’t easy to earn that Coin.
