How many 911 calls do fire fighters get every year

All of them.

How would I go about finding a photo of the inducted firemen in 1903. I have my grandfathers certificate and am interested in seeing a photo of him. Would the museum be able to find if there were photos of the NYC Fire Department 1903?

Ask the museum to put you in touch with the FDNY historian who has the archives on Randall’s Island. They might very well have a photo.

The Museum sells licensed FDNY hats. A significant portion of the proceeds from the sale of licensed FDNY merchandise benefits the FDNY Foundation, which supports fire safety, public education and outreach programs.

My wife's Grandfather, Michael F. Harley was the Battalion Chief of Battalion 43 and was killed in the line of duty on 9-29-25. She was wondering if there was anything in the museum about him?

Call the main line and be ask for the manager to request information. Also i would call the command if you can get a direct number which is rare to receive since they are usually dispatch directly from their main switch board. I would also call 311 NYC hot line to see where you can retrieve any information as well. Good luck
