Staff are friendly. However, they need more staff. Went on a Sunday morning and there was only one person in the kitchen. I waited 10 mins for a hot chocolate and over 30 minutes for my sandwich. They over toasted my bread and I asked for lightly toasted. Bread was hard and dark almost burned and not enjoyable. I asked for an egg to be added onto my sandwich which I was charged for but it wasn't added. I did get a refund for it. Overall, i would definitely not come back. I went there based on the good reviews but was disappointed

Was really excited to find a place that sold biscuits because it’s kind of hard to come by New York. Although the appearance of the biscuit was superb upon eating it it did have a slight taste of the freezer. I’m not really sure about this because they say everything is baked fresh but it was kind of an off putting taste otherwise good service

I've been a costumer since normas opened 2014? It's changed since then, in a negative way. The prices are ridiculously high and the quality has gone down.Their food is pre-made in industrial building downtown brooklyn. It no longer feels like a local coffee bakery shop. Yesterday, I decided to give it another try. I ordered just the biscuit for my son. It tasted old / stale and dry. I had to chug it no sense in going back. The only reason I give it 2 stars is bc the workers greet us nicely. I've moved on to the next great breakfast spot which I will not name. Gentrification sucks but why change something that was working just fine? Money hungry but blame it on inflation. ✌🏾never going back.
