Finally visited after years of living in Raleigh, and it did not disappoint at all!! Each vendor is so kind and almost every single table took card or had Venmo set up. I cannot wait until we can visit again!

Lots of positive reviews out there and this is another! The market is a reflection of what is "in season" and there is lots to choose from. Everyone is super friendly and willing to help you find something even if they are not the one selling it. We went looking for a Ghost Pepper plant and did not find any, if fact very few pepper plants and no actual peppers were found, this is because they are not in season right now and that's what it means to be "local" which is awesome. Also got to see very nice Mustang 350GT

Had a great time at the North Carolina State Farmers Market in Raleigh, NC. Spacious setting nestled near NCSU, parks, and easily accessed from anywhere. The market has dozens of vendors and a variety of exciting things to see, smell, taste, and see.

A great way to support local farmers that offer a great selection of produce, eggs, and local honey! Most stands accepted cards but a few took cash only so be prepared with both.
There’s also NC Seafood restaurant on site that serves delicious fried seafood for reasonable prices and generous portions.
We’ll definitely be back again.
Didn't price peaches last weekend but several vendors had them. Several had pickling cucumbers and last weekend they ranged from $1.49-$1.99 per pound. Already put up our first 11 quarts and going back today for more. Corn running about $25 for 65 ears. We found some "sweet corn" for $20 for 65 ears and put it up but we weren't as happy with the taste as maybe some other varieties.
Hello. Artificially Yours by Seniors designs flower arrangements handcrafted by retired seniors. We would like to become a vendor at your market. Could you guide me on next steps? Thank you.
With covid the hours vary depending on the vendors. They are not all there everyday as usual. You can find those days and hours on the markets website.
Why did they gangs it around. I heard it’s for the virus. But I feel it’s puts you even more on top of people now. I hated it. I have always enjoyed it in the past

There was more room for walking before, in my opinion.
Yes Anne the Raleigh farmers market is amazzzzing. They have all kinds of produce and goods. If you don't want to try farmers market you can definitely try our Sprout, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Publix or Harris teeter.
No, it is service animals only. Dogs wouldn't feel comfortable anyways, it is quite loud in the covered buildings and busy enough that paws would get stepped on frequently.
There are limited people there now.
It's all got to do with when the vegetables start getting ready which is limited until late March but start rolling in heavy the 3rd to 4th week in April.
The truckers shed is open but that's wholesale/large quantity sales but I'm sure they'll welcome your business.
This is all my best guess.
Unfortunately, they are not allowed inside any or most of the buildings. Many signs are posted!! We take our dog, but have to take turns while one shops and the other walks her.
I'm pretty sure they operate normal business hours other than Christmas and maybe Thanksgiving and New years.
That being said the stalls are run by independent vendors and may operate different hours on other holidays.
