Bruising is always possible but the amount of bruising varies depending on the area being treated and what treatment you are receiving. To reduce the risk of bruising, we always recommend avoiding aspirin, ibuprofen, flax seed, fish oil, chia seeds, tumeric, omega 3s, any other over the counter supplements and alcohol for 5-7 days before your treatment especially dermal fillers, when the risk of bruising is higher than a Botox or Dysport treatment. Never stop blood thinners prescribed by a doctor.
