4/16/22 - one of our favorite free camp sites in Nevada! We stop here often for overnight stays when traveling from Elko to Vegas or when exploring between Eureka and Fallon. Access on a decently maintained dirt road far enough off Hwy 50 for minimum road noise but close enough to the cell tower for service. Dry campground with clean and stocked pit restrooms. Camp sites are level with room for trailers and/or tents, and include shade structures, picnic tables, grills, fire rings, trash cans. Shade trees and short hiking trails to admire the unique petroglyphs. PLEASE RESPECT THE ROCK ART AND OUR ARCHAEOLOGICAL TREASURES!!!

Nice little rest stop! Vault toilet was okay, probably because it was still cold. The little trails were nice, easy to follow, and very picturesque.

Great campground to get away from it all. Not quite the middle of nowhere, but you can see that from here. But great cell signal.

Nice camping area (dry). Clean toilets (pit) Short hikes with great views, including petroglyphs up close. If you want quiet repose with nobody around, this is your spot.
