Dr. Jaquel Patterson and the Fairfield Family Health Team are miracle workers. I love that it is a one stop shop where I could get expert, compassionate care, along with the supplements that I need. Dr. Patterson took me from tired and worn out all of the time to energetic and enthusiastic. Gloria and Maggie make sure that I get my supplements so quickly. It’s so convenient because they send them quickly, and I get them within 2 days. I highly recommend Fairfield Family Health. I have had no experience like it!

Dr. Jaquel Patterson is AMAZING and was a Godsent! I’ve yet to come across many medical professionals who are as invested in solving their patients’ medical issues as she is. She is brilliant, goes above and beyond her role, and always follows through on what she says she will do! Dr. Patterson exudes patience during each appointment and is always fully engaged in our sessions. No health issue is too far gone for her to attempt to improve or remedy. Because of Dr. Patterson’s genuine dedication to ushering me out of my autoimmune condition and into optimal health, I attend each appointment hopeful that this disease will not be long-lasting. I must also mention how AWESOME her staff is, especially Maggie! They are professional, thoughtful, and always pleasant when I interact with them. I am grateful to have Dr. Patterson and the Fairfield Family Health team on my journey to healing

Questions & Answers

Dr Ingels doesn't mention fermented foods in his book as a source of probiotics. I make my own sauerkraut...is this enough of a probiotic source?

I usually recommend adding extra probiotics beyond fermented foods. It depends on the degree of gut disruption, but most people I work with have been on long tern antibiotics, so fermented foods may not be enough to help repopulate the gut flora.

How long does Dr Ingels recommend taking an herbal protocol before deciding that it's not helping and moving on to a different one?

I usually do a protocol for 6-8 weeks before deciding whether to continue or try something else. I would expect to see at least an inkling of improvement, but even small improvement is something and may warrant doing the protocol for a longer period of time.
