The food is great. The portions huge and the pricing reasonable. Each main meal turned out to be at least two servings. Do yourself a favor and ask for the takeout containers at the beginning The salad was large enough for 4. The baldmic dressing was delicious. The dessert, warm apple strudel and vanilla ice was wonderful. Sylvia is a talented chef and trust her recommendations. I had a native Romanian dish and it was superb. Cannot wait to return.

Excellent place to eat we were the only people at the restaurant and the food was made by Sylva the restaurant owner.Very friendly and the food very delicious better than any franchise restaurant.

Home cooking, huge portions, will definitely return. However, if you want atmosphere, this is not the place for you. Pretty worn-out. But the food is geat.

The best thing would be to call her. The new location is on Pleasant Street and is not called Silvia's Restaurant. It is her original restaurant and it is NOT closed.
I will take this as a rhetorical question since this is something to ask the owners not the general public.
