They warn about a 4hour wait because one person is working at the window, not because lobby is crowded…. Public Service has to do better !

These people are the most rude and unprofessional workers I've ever dealt with. Not to mention you'll be lucky if you get somebody on the phone after 10a.m.

The staff there is extremely rude and unprofessional I hope they know that you guys monitor the calls in because they do not have no professionalism when you call at all

You can just walk in, but if you call first they gonna tell what papers you need.
no they no parking but you can feed the meter on the street or you can park a few blocks away & walk to the office.

The best and fastest way is if you go in person. Depending on what you need . you might even be seen when without wasting time waiting for and appointment. This place is the best . your waiting to be called is less than in other SSA offices. I really love this place. I recommended. Good luck

Need to go to the Social Security Bronx Card Center at ,820 Concourse Village west. 2nd floor. Bring ample identification and birth certificate. They will mail you one in 3-7 days, good luck

Yes, it only takes a few minutes after the almost half hour it takes to get through security. The office at 175th St. And Southern Blvd is much easier to get past security.

No it is free but you have to go to 820 Grand Concourse Village 2nd FL Social security office to get it . It is the only place that you can get a card from in the bronx

Reason why? Divorce decree, death certificate(if spouse is deceased) separation copies of any of these. Whatever you reason for changing your name, you MUST BRING PROOF.
