I just got frontier, switched from another fiber optic company. A truck took down the fiber lines for me and some neighbors. All my neighbors got the internet in a matter 24hrs. My estimate with Frontier is a week and is being 2 days already. IF YOU WORK FROM HOME OR HAVE A BUSINESS DO NOT USE FRONTIER!! UNRELIABLE. And they plaedge to the CT attorney that they will have a better service. Definitely reporting this.

Frontier internet service was absolutely terrible for 3 years. Oversold the capability and never invested in the infrastructure to support the contracted speeds. Wasted customer time by manning tech support with well-mannered but ineffective personnel who had no ability to solve the problem. When field techs came they would run tests and determine that the problem was not with modem etc., but rather upstream "congestion". If you have another option you should try it as this company is not only behind the curve with delivery investment in network, but has also carried on a deceitful practice of acting like they can solve problems that they know they can't.

Yes it seems normal for Frontier. They did the same thing to me twice already. No show no call Monday and Wednesday. Same thing, you talk to a representative to schedule an appointment only to later find out the order was not put through to dispatch! I have no choice but to go back to Cox.
