There's a lot to like about this RV Park, and a couple of things not to like. First, it's large; most of the sites are wooded and all are fairly roomy. It was a quiet and peaceful, even on what would have been a busy August weekend. Best of all, I got a site where the WIFI was excellent. There was a nice central area and also a sparkling clean pool. The proprietors were experienced, professional, gracious and accommodating. On the downside: The cost. $137 to park a small RV for three nights is excessive (part of the problem is that in Maine RV parks have to charge 9% lodging tax, egregious for RV stays). Also, despite such a large park with many long-term campers, there should have been laundry facilities. It seems many RV parks in New England don't for some reason. All in all, I enjoyed my short stay, despite that it took a big bite out of my wallet.

What a great find! We came up with friends and shared the Group Camping site, which had plenty of tables and a firepit to share and was a quick walk to a utility sink for dishes and the cleanest campground bathroom any of us have ever experienced. Free hot showers too! The owners were super nice and accommodating. We reserved canoes with the campground and Mike the owner drove us and our boats up river and helped us unload. Renting the boats was very affordable and the shuttle was free. We had a beautiful day on the river and it took us about 6 hours to get back to camp with lots of stops for lunching and swimming. It was incredibly convenient to be able to just paddle right into camp so we could enjoy plenty of adult bevvies on the river and just stumble into our campsite at the end of the day. Great experience all around and we will definitely be back!

Amazing place, already planning a trip back! Grounds are kept pristine, quiet & safe camping! Bathrooms are clean and have a large sink for dishes outside. Staff is helpful, fun and kind. If you're looking to party stay away! This is the perfect relaxing get away. Amazing views, large sites and just a short trip to the White Mountains!
