EXTREMELY rude and dismissive receptionist answered the phone when I called with a pet emergency. Spoke to me like I was dirt under her feet and was very uncompassionate about my pet who needed emergency care. *** Update: My pet died. I have absolutely no desire to contact anyone at this clinic as they requested in their public attempt at soothing the review I left. ***

We have used VCA for our vet care since 2017. They have been very thorough and prompt to take care of our senior dogs needs. I've enjoyed the check up phone calls when my dog was seen, their mail order pharmacy and keeping her up to date on vaccines and faxing of records to the dog daycare/boarding. Unfortunately, my dog recently started not being her usual self and despite having a normal exam our vet, Dr. Amata listened to our concerns and offered extra testing. We eventually came to the sad diagnosis of cancer that had already spread. She was started on pain medicine to keep her comfortable and Dr. Amata was very thoughtful, kind and patient giving us the news and preparing us for the days ahead. We very much appreciate this vet for taking the time with us to help our pet.

VCA has taken care of all of my fur babies for many years. They love animals and treat them like family! I will never go anywhere else...

My dog split a nail pretty badly and I was worried so I took him to our regular vet. They couldn't see us for four days so I tried VCA Ocean Beach. On a busy Friday afternoon they made time and Dr Miller confirmed it needed immediate treatment. After seeing his case load, Dr Miller and the staff took care of our boy and he's home recovering nicely. Not overpriced compared to others in the area. I think we may have a new regular vet!

They neutered my cat, but you need to call and see if you can get an appointment.
I don't know. You would have to call them
You need to get him to a Vet immediately!! It could be a tumor. If the lump is/has oozing blood and/or pus its probably very serious. Vets aren't as expensive as one thinks.
Same here.. I'm not sure
This question does not appear to be related to VCA, but tails r waggin of a good one nearby.
