I love browsing in this book shop. They have books -- all used mind -- that no other bookstore has. The shop is quiet and crammed with books, so you will not be bored. It is cash only, but they allow you to hold the books you want to buy until you can return with the money.

Absolutely incredible place!!!! This is an incredible experience coming in this store. You simply dont find book stores like this anymore. Its an absolute gem. There is a massive variety of books and you will have to search but its peaceful and inviting.

My husband used to peruse their shop, but at a previous location and about 28 years ago. Today, he introduced me to this treasure hunt of a gem. So much to find and such excellent prices! Give yourself plenty of time. You will need it. Not only for the thousands upon thousands of titles that you will find, but also for the extra time needed for some of the stacks that you will ultimately want to shift through. You may need an assistant by your side, as some of the stacks can be a bit precarious and the occasional avalanche is bound to happen. The owner is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Don't hesitate to ask questions. Be prepared! Cash or check payment, only. Looking forward to going back! EDIT: Still love stopping by, whenever I have the chance. They're still only taking cash/ check as payment. It's always a treat to browse and see what catches your fancy!

Said online they were open...but at 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon they were all locked up and closed, lights off. Oh well, money saved on my part, lost of theirs.

We are still by appointment only (614-263-2903) to avoid too many people in the store at the same time. We require customers to wear masks and to keep them on correctly making sure mouth and nose are covered. We also ask if they have any signs or symptoms of illness to please wait until feeling better to come in.
The person who would be able to help you doesn't come in until after 3:30pm, it's best to call and see if Karen has arrived yet.
