Since my PCP moved over to the Western Boulevard location, I basically have no doctor to turn to in an emergency. A very high COVID risk patient who thus knows the importance of timely administration of therapeutics, I called immediately the morning I tested positive (my husband had tested positive three days earlier, so I figured I would catch it). Nobody called back, and when I followed up around 2:30 in the afternoon, I learned my PCP was out of the office that day, booked the next day and I could see a virtual P.A. the next day if I wanted. Pro Health never responded to my first call for advice. I wrote to my PCP on the portal to complain and three days later still have zero reply. This office is fine for routine bloodwork and physicals as long as you are patient with the long phone delays and wait times. However, don't rely upon them if you actually are ill. I contacted my cardiologist who advised to get a PCR test which I scheduled that evening at Physician One Urgent Care center in Glastonbury CT after being blown off all day by Pro Health. Physician One took me in, got immediate positive antigen results and positive PCR results within 18 hours. This office not only provided me with advice, they provided the Molnupiravir therapeutic and the nurse from Physician One Urgent care called me two days later to check on me.

This place used to be great. You used to call and actually speak with someone in the office. Now you talk to a main office which is awful. They have grown and grown and grown and now are way too big. It is impossible to get an appointment or to even speak with anyone in the office. I am very disappointed.

I have been a patient here for many years. Overall, I have had positive experiences with most of the staff during my visits. However, yesterday, I had a negative experience at the checkout window. Someone was being helped, so I stood back what I considered was a reasonable distance waiting. The checkout person bluntly ordered me to "Get back!!" I said "More?!" and proceeded to back away. She could have asked me more respectfully rather than being rude.

I had my first appointment with ProHealth Physicians and I couldn't be happier with my experience!! Everyone from the Young Women who helped me set up the appointment to the Women who rescheduled my next appointment were professional, friendly and made me feel welcome and at ease with my decision to make the change from my previous Primary care group!

Dial 4 to get directly to the office, also if you have the order you can go to any lab, they prefer Quest but you can go anywhere even though the order says Prohealth

Attempting to schedule regular flu shot for over 65. Software froze up. What next? Can I call a human?

I go to Stop and Shop pharmacy on Oak st. Just call to schedule and appointment or do an appointment on line, they are really great. I gave up on this service at Pro-Health years ago. And BTW don't even think about calling the office before 11 am unless you like to be on hold forever.
