Purchased a pallet of sod from Ohio mulch. Took several phone calls to get delivery scheduled. Then after taking off work to be home to lay the sod they called me at 4:30pm to let me know they got too busy and couldn’t make the delivery. So we reschedule for a few days later. Same thing happens, they call me at 4:30pm to let me know they couldn’t cut the sod because it was too wet. So we schedule the delivery for the third time and this time they just no showed. No call or text, nothing by 4pm so I called several times and no one answered my call. Also sent two texts which went unanswered. Next day I call and text several times because I wanted to make sure the pallet didn’t just show up at a time when I’m not able to install the sod. Another day went by with no return calls or texts and then out of nowhere a pallet of sod shows up at 5pm one day when I’m unable to get it installed. I used to buy all my mulch and supplies from Ohio mulch but I’m done. If they had just been even somewhat professional and retuned a call or let me know when the delivery was coming this could have all been avoided.

Ohio mulch is known for being cheap and that's only one of two reasons why I would suggest going. The other somewhat good aspect is the workers for the most part are pretty helpful and cool. Other than that the mulch is way below acceptable. Never buy their topsoil because it is truly not topsoil their mixture ratios is way way off and the only thing that would be happy to grow is weeds. Seriously, can't express that enough. I run my own business and I've been going there for years. Usually to dump debris or buy mini pine mulch which is surprisingly really really good. Their mulch decay's way to rapidly and does NOT hold color. so you will only get maybe a year out of it before it looks bad (if it doesn't rain) smh. The triple process is not great but will satisfy a passing grade. Straw and seed is pretty good at decent pricing. Other than that I would suggest going to Kurtz Brothers or Mr mulch. Pricing is higher but quality is great. And that's my 2 cents. Oh, the stone and rocks are pretty good too. The saying you get what you pay for doesn't fit for this place. Quality is 1star for mulch.
