The FCVSC helped me pay for groceries and gas once, and assisted with one month of past-due rent I owed. When they discovered I was unemployed due to a rescinded job offer, the commissioning board berated and humiliated me for asking for assistance. I am currently facing eviction in spite of their half-hearted efforts.

I called and received a call back the same day but the women that contacted me was very short and completely unwilling to help. She asked me to provide my full social security number to her, a person I had never met or spoken to before from a unknown number, over the phone since I wasn't in their system. When I refused, like any sane person would, she informed me that she couldn't even set up an appointment without that number so I said thank you and hung up. What kind of operation insist on receiving a social security number over the phone and refuses to set up an appointment so you can deliver it in person? VERY unprofessional.

The VSOs with Franklin County are not returning phone calls. The last time I spoke with my VSO was in early November 2021. I called for an update on my supplemental claim and all she did was give me the VA's hotline # and told me to call them the following month. She has returned none of my phone calls since. Thankfully, my claim was approved at 100% P&T, no thanks to her. I will not post her name here but her name will be used in a complaint to the Franklin County commissioners office and the VA VSO accreditation office. We're still losing over 20 veterans a day to suicide and for the County VSOs to treat combat veterans like this should be criminal.

I called the Franklin County VA office twice, and was told by a recording, of a woman's voice ,to leave a message and she would call within 24 hours. Haven't heard from anyone in over two weeks. I just need information to assist a veteran.

thank you Alan dont have a place Raining ..living in my car. need help.
The Franklin County Veterans service administration would most likely not be giving out vaccinations. If a veteran wanted to find out about that they would want to call or go to the Chalmers P. Wylie ambulatory care center (columbus VA).
Yes, they were sent out 11/18
The holiday gift card program has already ended, the pick up day was November 9th.
Either this weekend or next weekend at the office from 830 til 4
The Holiday Meal program has been delayed due to a vendor issue with getting the cards. As of now we don't have a date when they will be in. Once we know when the supply of cards come in we will set a date for the event.
yes
Call the American Legion Post they can help you
You go to the Franklin county VA admission office sign some one will help you to answer your questions about the claim
No clue. You should probably call the Veterans administration office for questions like that. They specialize in matters like that. This page is based on reviews of people who have been there. Opinion bases. Not factual.
