TL;DR: There were a few hiccups, but they made up for it, willing to stay late. I would for sure buy a car from them again. The full story: Recently went out car shopping, looking for something older, easier to work on, and most importantly, a manual. I wasn't really worried about the cars history as I'm a pretty capable person and don't mind fixing up vehicles. I started working with Ed on a 2006 Scion TC with 202k miles. I liked the look of the car but, unfortunately the windshield was busted out. We spoke briefly about replacing the windshield and it was mentioned that they should be able to have it replaced that week. I offered that I would buy the car if they did. After about two weeks, the windshield still had not been replaced. Fortunately, though, they were willing to work with me on the price of the car. They knocked enough off the price for me to get the windshield replaced, my time to do so, and I agreed to buy the car. I didn't have my check book with me but Ed was more than willing to stay late, allowing me to go home and retrieve it. I wrote them a check on Sunday, figuring that if they deposited it the next morning, it would clear and I could pick the car up on Tuesday. It didn't but no big deal, the next day I could pick it up on would be Friday. Wednesday I called as I noticed the check still had not cleared and someone else (Sorry, I don't remember the name at the moment) mentioned they had not deposited the check yet. Friday, the check finally clears and I head over to pick the car up. Normally they close at 6 on Friday, however they stayed late so that I could take the car home at 6:35. The car needed a little TLC, but after a new battery and replacing the brakes, it runs like a champ. At first, I was a little frustrated about the delays, I would rather be told something is going to happen on a Thursday and have it happen early, than be told it will happen on a Tuesday and have it happen on Thursday. That being said, they went above and beyond to make up for it and I appreciate that immensely.
