Best care I ever had.
Christopher Sowders
I have rarely sought direct care at the Chillicothe VA, but in terms of the community care and travel staff, they are simply outstanding. Some of the most prompt and courteous folks I've encountered in any VA system.

I have been getting care here for about 8 years. Before that, 1999-2014, I was seen at Dayton VA. I have had a couple bad occurrences but those are far outweighed by the good ones. It’s an hour drive, 20 minutes longer than Dayton VA for me, but worth it in the end.

Yes
Yes they do.
Sort of. They will make the impression of your gums and that is sent to an off-site lab that actually makes the dentures. It typically takes a few weeks to get them back. Of course, these services are available to veterans only.
Call the VA Hospital they will direct you to the right department.
Dental coverage is if the Veteran is 100% service connected, or some other specific exceptions. So, expect out of pocket costs otherwise.
Veteran here, Rena is partially right about being 100% service connected for dental. The only way around that is to be going through the vocational rehabilitation and employment program. That program is located in building 3. Specifically be in the chapter 31 program, which pays for college or a technical program. If you would like to get enrolled into that, Gabe Brown would be who you need to talk to. You are considered 100% while participating in the program. The only reason I know this is because the VA chapter 31 program paid for my bachelors degree in social work. I had dental work for all 3 years of college ( I finished in 3 years due to going year round). I hope this information helps. Have a wonderful day!
I am not positive but I think they may at the library there. It is straight across from the commissary on the campus.
If you moved you need to contact the VA and get your address changed immediately. I would also call the pharmacy and talk with a pharmacist or pharmacy tech. To make sure it gets change. There are some medications that have to be signed for. You do not want your medications and or your personal information stolen.
Yes
As a veteran, the short answer is no. The long answer is you can get dental work from the va as a veteran there's just a process and involves a few steps pertaining to your disability rating.
You need to go to Usajobs.gov create account, then you can do searches and apply for what you want.
Yes you should be able to
Contact the VA advocate at your local VA they will be able to get you to the person that can answer your questions
That apartment building is not run by the VA. The last I heard on the news there were 2 lawyers who are helping him for free. The story seems to have lost it's appeal. I haven't seen anymore about it.
Call voluntery service at the VA. They would be who could answer your question.
Yes sir.
Yes, as long as the veteran has a high enough service connection.
No Pet Scan at Chillicothe VAMC
Check with local American Legions etc. Some of them do transportation.
