I would absolutely steer clear of this center. After 3 months of my girlfriend working here, it’s evident that while teachers care, there is absolutely no support and leadership is failing both the teachers and the children at this school. Parents may be interested to know that although Primrose boasts low ratio, classrooms are always maxed out, with classroom combined pretty consistently. There have been 6 teachers to resign in the last 2 weeks just at this location. As a parent, if consistency of caregivers is important, this would be a pass. If you’re looking to work at Primrose, I would be cautious. They hire under false pretenses (for example, they have hired multiple teachers for a PreK position then placed these teachers with other classrooms, promising to move them to PreK once the position opened- which it never did). The leadership isn’t supportive of teachers, is demeaning, and ignores requests for help. My girlfriend turned in her resignation with a detailed letter covering her concerns- nothing was acknowledged by leadership- (as in no response to emails, texts, wouldn’t talk with her in person). The owners would do well to reach out to past employees to figure out exactly what’s going on- because losing 1/3 of your staff in two weeks is a reflection on the leadership- not the hard working teachers.

Primrose is not your typical daycare, they are family! They take of your child, but they also take care of the parents! From healthy snacks, to fun dress up days, Primrose is a great place to have your child grow!

We couldn’t be happier with the experience our family has had at the Primrose School of Grandview. The staff is very responsive and caring and provides a great developmental environment for our daughter. She really enjoys going every day! We are so thankful for how professional and attentive everyone is at the school. It gives us a strong sense of comfort and happiness that our daughter is so well liked and cared for.

Our family cannot say enough good things about Primrose and this location. We started here as essential workers in need of childcare for our new baby during a pandemic. Their pandemic response made us feel safe and reassured we made the right decision. The teachers visibly care about the children and conduct themselves professionally. We receive frequent pictures and updates throughout the day. They have fun activities, healthy food options, and theme days that they go all out for. The front desk is quick to respond via email or telephone, and any issues we have had were addressed and corrected immediately.
