I have had the pleasure of working with Rachel for my wedding and both newborn photos for my two children. Rachel always makes the process smooth and comfortable. This most recent newborn session was by far the easiest and seamless session. Rachel took care of every little detail and our photos came out beautifully. She has a beautiful collection of dresses to choose from and helped create the colors and looks for the entire family. She even set up makeup and hair so all I needed to do was show up! I am in awe how she is able to capture the tiniest details and really captures the best moments of my family.

Working with Rachel at 47 Moments was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. She was kind, compassionate and had so much patience with us and our little one. Her attention to detail in not just her photos, but also in the other amenities she provides to the customer is above and beyond and really thought out. As a first time mom, she took all of the stress out of the day! Wardrobe was chosen beforehand, idea boards for clothing for the rest of the family were provided (taking away all of my guess work), I loved that I could get hair and makeup done on site while she started photos of my husband and our baby, and the studio was beautiful and clean. Most of all, we couldn’t be happier with the final outcome and all of the beautiful moments she captured. Her photos are light and airy and exactly what we were hoping for!

This is when the belly starts to show it's nice, round shape. This time can vary depending on your body and whether it's your first or subsequent pregnancy.
Yes! We offer a bundled package which is called the First Year Collective Membership. It consists of 3 or 4 sessions from maternity, newborn, 6 months, and one year (cake smash). It's a great option to receive a savings on your session fee, birth announcements and album.

After you book your newborn session we will schedule your wardrobe and planning appointment. You will choose a dress that you love from our client wardrobe. We will coordinate the rest of your family's outfits from there. Then we will book your hair and makeup and go over all the details for the day of your session. Last, we will discuss where you would like to display your artwork and where in your home would be best for framed prints.
For sleepy newborn photos it’s best to photograph within the first two weeks of birth. For a lifestyle session with your baby more alert we can photograph within the first month.
