This place is really nice for hangouts and small to medium gatherings. There is a shaded place with tables and benches where you can sit and perhaps enjoy your meals. However, there is no washroom, so you have to keep that in mind if you are planning something over there. There is a very nice playground where you can play soccer. There is a parking lot, a small recreational space for kids, a basketball court etc. The view from the shaded place is fantastic on a bright sunny day.

Everyone in that area just lets their dogs bolt around there like psychos anyway. Good luck.
I would say yes in the summer especially because the school hosts camp and uses the pavilion
No, there are no swings at the park except a porch type swing you can sit with your child on.
