Lots of activities, decent campground sites no places to actually swim the beach is just a bunch of sand and a small area to swim, deepest part of the swimming area is about 3-4 feet.

Staff has been really nice. The campground is great, clean and has lots of activities you can do.

Plenty of room at campsites. Lots of Army training noise: bugle calls; machine gun firing; tank guns or cannon fire. Don't leave cooler outside: clever raccoons. Deer. Water toys, you can rent. You get used to the noise.

Very nice MWR campground. High quality wooden cabins for rent, well maintained. They have kitchens, A/C, heat and full baths. The campsites look good too and they have pull throughs. Lots of activities from fishing, canoeing, mini golf, shuffleboard and hiking in the summer.

Yes they rent RVs for use at the campground.

Currently cabins are being rented but the camp sites are not. No water is turned on. Expect sites to be open mid April.
