We found some amazing people there, but the 1 start is for the place itself. The main reason for the 1 star is for the shared bathroom with the next room. This is not safe and hygienic. Time to time my wife would find pee on the toilet top or other nasty things. Second reason for one star: the AC does not work. It would get so hot and the AC control inside of the room would not work. Last, the place really needs renovation as everything is old and outdate. I would not take my wife there again.

I came to Pinecrest after being in the hospital for three weeks. I was in an accident 14 broken bones both clavicles so I was non weight bearing on my arms. This was the only acute facility that would take me most thought I would be too time consuming for their staff so I really appreciate that they gave me the chance to put in the work. The nursing staff was great Renee the Director was awesome I came to them being sleep deprived for a week and had two days where I passed out she was there for me and comforted me when I needed to get blood drawn or when I was having problems Monica and Julie on the nursing staff were really sweet. Reesie was awesome and Jason the charge nurse was very helpful when he was at work he would leave the desk and fill in when the nurses were swamped. Carmen and Ireene were very sweet CNA’s even though they were very busy. Andrew a nursing student there for the summer was taking extra rotations he would help the cna’s and the nurses he was very kind. Elison the wound care nurse was very nice and concerned about my comfort when changing my wound vac bandages. I had some great conversations with the psychiatrist Dr. Lee Bukstel apparently when you are sleep deprived you act crazy. This is the place to come to if you want to go progress quickly and return to home. You have 3 hours of therapy a day. All of the staff on the therapy side were amazing. Dr Farber was in the therapy room often and noticed I was having problems with my shoulder and came over and diagnosed tendinitis in it. Donna and Justin were great PT’s . My favorite was Nicole my OT she took great care of me. She always gave you personal attention and took notes at the end of the day. That made her day longer, but it made the therapy she gave better. Jennifer an OT on the weekend French braided my hair that was sweet my hair was long and would tangle.

Nice clean facility with a terrific staff.I went from surgery at Delray Medical directly to Pinecrest Rehab for a few weeks and I was very well taken care of.Really great staff in all areas of rehabilitation including the nursing staff and even the food wasn't bad.
