This hotel is in a prime location for seeing the sites around the driftless area. The grounds and interior are well cared for, including flowers everywhere and plenty of areas for lounging. The small bar has everything you need, including mid-century decor and comfy chairs. The rooms were comfortable, and the indoor pool and hot tub were above average. Our only complaint was that the soap dispensers in the showers for both locker rooms by the pool were empty, so we still smelled of chlorine after getting dressed. So, go back to your room to shower!

We took our tour group to stay at the inn and everyone loved it. The place is spotless, very large, the staff is very accommodating and friendly. We will take every group there in the future and I suspect some of our folks will bring their spouses to stay too.

I can be a very tough critic … but I absolutely loved this place. You can tell it’s been around awhile, but the owners do an incredible job of keeping everything up to date and spotless. And the Wright-style architecture is superb. If you are traveling to visit Taliesin or taking in the local theater, this place is your must-stay. My highest recommendation!

Very nice place. Reception person, Audrey was extremely pleasant and helpful. Just a mile or two from Taliesin. Clean comfortable room. Newly renovated pool. Nice lounge with drinks available. Older building but very well keep. I’d stay here again.
