Yes. You will be driving on the road. You'll be driving in a neighborhood near the main office that doesnt have a lot of traffic and has enough space to practice left/ right turns, stopping, broken u-turns, and parallel parking. I would say the only street that might be a little busy (depending on the time of day) would be Jamaica ave since you need to take that to get to the neighborhood. However, you'll only be on Jamaica ave for less than a minute or so because the neighborhood is so close by. I'm sure they have taught many 1st time drivers so as long as you voice whatever concerns you have, they'll accomodate you in some way.
My road test was 9 minutes. It depends on the instructor though. I took my road test in July. Good luck!
5 hr classes were held twice a week. Tuesday - 5:30 PM and Sunday -:10 AM. Did you try both numbers? They are a mom and pop business and they're committed to passing their students and not just taking your money like some other schools.
