Image Driving School is the best driving school in Brooklyn, in my opinion. They have a very professional staff who are also very accommodating, courteous, and all around nice people. The instructors are also top notch. Mine was Janvier and he will make sure you pass the road test. Do everything he tells you and retain everything he teaches you. If you have trouble with either parallel parking or K--turn, he will be patient with you and give you the chance to practice over and over until it becomes second nature. Even if you're extra nervous the day of the road test, the memory that you've built through all the practice and instructions will guarantee you passing with flying colors, on your first try even, like I did. I definitely recommend the school and all their professional staff and driving instructors.

This review is based on my experience with a driving instructor and not the business as an entity. Please abstain from taking lessons with Ernest as your driving instructor. He is rude and unprofessional. Less than five minutes into the lesson, he began speaking to me as if I was a child or as if I was less than. As I was trying to fix an error made during parking, he began yelling at me as he periodically looked at his phone. I raised my voice back and began to let him know that I am a 26-year-old woman and will not be spoken to or undermined in that manner. I told him that I was open to feedback and wanted to improve, but I will not be spoken in the way he spoke to me. I am an educator with two master's degrees; one thing that does not work when teaching someone is yelling and treating them as if they are incapable. Once I set the tone, his demeanor changed, and he began to change his style and spoke to me more respectfully. It should not take someone to raise their voice to be communicated to like a human being. My previous driving instructor Andy was terrific. I would have continued to schedule lessons with him, but my Summer break ended, and my work schedule did not align with his available hours. Andy was very patient and kind. He tried his absolute best to ensure I was comfortable behind the wheel. In addition, he gave me feedback and strategies on how to improve as a driver. I grew immensely as a driver because of him. My recent lesson with Ernest was a lesson to refresh on skills I had learned before my road test, but his unprofessionalism and lack of respect made worked against all the confidence Andy helped me build as a driver. As I now read the reviews, unprofessional driving instructors seem to be frequent at this driving school. If you decide to take driving lessons here, please schedule them with Andy. DO NOT schedule driving lessons with ERNEST.

I had been driving for many years but allowed my license to expire (not driving during expiry). I have to start again and could pass the road test now! What are the minimum lessons that would I need to qualify for the road test?
To King Royal: What happened? Which instructor? What did he say? How did he act?
Idk Mr Earnest but they have some good teachers. They are open, you should stop by in person.
Ramon.. thanks for asking the question..Only a permit is required to take lessons and/orbthe 5 hour class. You need to always have your permit on your posession whenever you are behind the wheel. I hope that answers your question. Hope we can help you get your license!
As of now they are backed up with scheduling lessons. I was there two weeks ago and it was a 2 week wait so it might still be backed up
No you can go with your I'd and the paper.
