My buddy lives here and I have to admit I stop by even when he's not around to just relax. First of all, the grounds are neat and clean, and there are security guards patrolling constantly to keep out the riffraff. This co-op development is unlike most in East Harlem. You find African Americans, Latinos, Whites and Asians living together in harmony. Everyone is extremely friendly and there's a distinct relaxed atmosphere here. The apartments, or at least my friend's place is roomy and comfortable. The hallways, staircases and elevators are kept clean. Definitely a nice place to live. UPDATE: Nothing has changed.

I use to live there at the plaza when I was very young. We moved in when I was 9 years old. Now I'm requesting an application to put in for the present time. My cousin still resides there. We lived there for 40 years. It was a very nice place to live back then. Now I'm hoping to move back my old stopping grounds because it was very present and with security protection My name is Ms Denise Greene PO BOX 1046 bronx New York 10456 I am currently in my early 70 and have a support dog for my company. She makes no noise. I wish to put in an application for a 1 bedroom apt. Respectfully Ms Denise Greene I had to move because my mother needed assistance when my father passed this is 40 years ago. I got stuck out here in the bronx. After she passed in 2004.

Moved out recently only to find out that they make you sign a form forcing you to pay 3 months of rent for a vacant apartment which is ridiculous. And top it off, they sent a bill asking me to pay for that apartment’s renovation even though nothing has been broken (just normal wear and tear), adding up to nearly 20k. In fact, they didn’t even want to do a tour of the apartment before I left even when I asked in person. So be aware of what you’re signing up for. Asking for all of this money is probably just an excuse for the apartment to turn up the heat really high in the winter to the point of causing paint to peel off - so the paint peeling off isn’t even our fault. There must be a reason why people living here don’t ever pay for electricity and gas.
