Would give zero stars if possible! Visited this store in the early 90's. Went in and asked if they had a specific speaker (JBL L7's) that I wanted to purchase and was asked how much do I want to spend instead of telling me if they had the one I requested in stock. From the moment I told him 2.4K, he and everyone else in the store looked at me like I was lower than the dust and literally told me with an attitude to come back when I'm serious about buying some real equipment! So I'm not surprised to read some of the negative reviews here. It's truly amazing they're still in business after all these years! It's like clowns trying to run a circus except real clowns have better personalities! 😂 🤦 😡 If you don't believe me, go there and ask for something that doesn't cost a lot according to them and you'll see how they treat you. Definitely a great place to go if you want to have a bad day! 😂 Reason I'm writing this now after so many years is because a YouTuber by the name of Shane Lee posted a video today about a similar experience he recently had at a Hi-Fi shop in CT and it brought back memories of my experience here. Plus there were no Google Reviews back then to warn people about a place like this. By the way, I still bought the JBL L7's but at Circuit City who we're more than happy to sell them to me no questions asked. No way I would ever give a place like this any business. Hope this helps some people. Have a fantastic day! 👍 😊 Notice they left a reply. Regardless of what they write, that'll never change how they treated me back then. Nuff said.

Extremely rude- why should I beg for a demo then be denied when it's their job to sell me?

I recently upgraded my sound system with the help of Evan and Glenn. They are incredibly knowledgeable and experienced. Their recommendations were spot on and my system sounds extraordinary! They were also a pleasure to work with every step of the way. I can't recommend Stereo Exchange more highly.

Glenn and David were great in helping us decide on what Amplifier to pair with some vintage speakers. We were interested in the Rouge Audio Atlas Magnum III and they let us demo this and a solid state amplifier with comparable speakers so we could get a sense of the difference in sound and allowed us to bring vinyl that we know well too which was great! The whole experience was top notch, there was no pressure to make a decision and we were given all the space needed to appreciate the sound and make our decision. I would highly recommend the team to anyone! They really know their stuff and love audio!!

Stereo Exchange does not do these types of repairs. Technetron and Analogique are two we'll known local repair shops.
Thank you for your inquiry. We are seeing clients by appointment-only one group at a time in the showroom. We routinely disinfect surfaces, and especially component controls and our iPad used to select streaming music. All visitors (and us) must remain masked for the duration of your visit. Please feel free to contact us for any additional information.
They can. You could also inquire with the manufacturer. http://bwgroupsupport.com/
