I arrived at the register window at 4:59 and I was refused service. Being refused is fine, I guess, but old dude gave me dagger eyes as if I came to murder his family. He didn’t even ask me what I wanted. Just told me I can come back Tuesday. Nope, I will not be doing that, because I bought my 6 bags of compost at Home Depot. I won’t be back. I won’t be recommending this place to anyone. At least when Home Depot tells me they’re closed, they won’t treat me like I’m some sort of subhuman piece of trash as they turn me away.

Free brush and leaves drop off on Saturdays for KCMO residents. Great place to buy mulch by the bag or in bulk. They are a great benefit to our community.

I had garden soil delivered using their blower truck. They did quick work, listened to what I wanted, and cleaned up afterward. They even dug out a small bush for me that needed replanting just to be nice! Highly recommend.

If you're a Kansas City Missouri resident with a Kansas City address on your driver's license you can drop off your organic yard waste for free on Saturdays. That being said other days of the week you have to pay a small fee to drop off your items. If you need mulch or soil this is also a good place for your needs. The staff can usually be a little rough around the edges but these are guys working with waste materials and heavy equipment, not much to expect.

Hi yes This is correct we have a window that maintains distance. We also ware masks and use snitizer on Saturdays when the attendants are out in the yard.

Hi Leslie We do have garden soil and raised bed mix. It is not "Certified Organic" but we use field dug soil and compost that has been tested. Its good stuff. Here is a link to the price sheet.
