Awful management. I work hard but they treat everyone like trash and no one responds to messages, emails, letters or notes. Never any follow through. Have to all but beg to get anything done.

I was at the NYCHA office in Red Hook West. They need to restructure that office with competent workers. The housing assistants treat tenants like they are volunteering and tenants are being extra annoying to them. Most if not all the the housing assistants let work pile up during Covid and/or misplaced documents and now they act like it's the tenants fault. One of them simply moved to another housing complex. Who supervises these people. There seems to be no accountability for the quality of their work. My advice to you is to get copies of ANY documentation you give them and asked for it to be stamped. Don't give them the benefit of doubt that documents will be properly handled. At the end of the day it will be your word against theirs and the prove of burden will be solely yours. So, C.Y.A and make copies and the name of the person who accepted the paperwork.
