This was my first experience at Newtown MediSpa and it was wonderful. Everyone was so friendly. Tiffany was amazing.. Her professionalism and knowledge helped ease my anxiety and I felt very comfortable with her. I will definitely be returning and would not hesitate to recommend Newtown MediSpa to my friends and family!

I WONT GATEKEEP! Newtown MediSpa has the friendliest, most knowledgeable staff and the facilities are beautiful and welcoming. I went in for my 1st ever medispa visit a few years ago wanting a whole lot of things done. They told me point blank that what I was asking for was for the most part unnecessary. They want you to walk away looking enhanced, not unnatural, and I very much appreciated them not letting me get carried away or lost in what i was seeing on social media. They recommended some small things, like trying a lip flip (small botox injections) before jumping into full on lip injections. I did this for about a year before I made the plunge. Additionally, after getting numbing cream the 1st time, I experienced a small irritation from the cream itself after I had left. It cleared up shortly after, but when I told them the next time, they encouraged me to see an allergist, that my reaction could pose a real problem not just cosmetically but at places like the dentist as well! We decided together not to get the injection until I saw a doctor just to be safe! Needless to say, I just had sensitive skin and it was not a problem after seeing the allergist. They are careful to not get the cream on anything but my lips and they even text me after to check on me. This just goes to show that they are not out there to upsell or cut corners, that they actually genuinely care about their clients, their comfort and the results. It is no secret that this is the best medispa around. Pre-Book your appointments and you will never be disappointed!

The applicator will be placed on the treatment area, and there will be a slight sucking sensation as it adheres to your body, followed by that signature cooling effect. During the procedure you may experience sensations of pulling, tugging, mild pinching, intense cold, tingling, stinging, aching, and cramping at the treatment site. These sensations subside as the area becomes numb. Following the procedure, typical side effects include temporary redness, swelling, blanching, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging, tenderness, cramping, aching, itching, or skin sensitivity, and sensation of fullness in the back of the throat after submental or submandibular area treatment. After the applicator is detached, your provider will do a brief 2-minute massage on the area to break up the treated fat cells and enhance the fat reduction. Research has shown that 67% of those who did the massage saw better results.
While you will see up to a 20-25% fat reduction in the treated area after a single treatment, it depends on the person and the area being treated. Your provider will work with you to determine if additional treatments are necessary to reach your desired goal.
Each CoolSculpting Elite treatment is different, so it depends on which areas of the body and how many of them you plan on doing. Depending on the area, treatment can be done in as little as 35 minutes. If you opt to do multiple treatments in a session, expect to spend more time. The CoolSculpting Elite machines feature dual applicators, allowing patients to do multiple treatment areas at once, reducing the amount of time spent in office as compared to using 1 CoolSculpting applicator with older technology.
Not everyone is a candidate for Coolsculpting. Because it’s a customized procedure, we are unable to give you a price prior to a consultation. At this consultation, we will perform a full body assessment, answer all your questions, discuss your frustrations, and review treatment options and pricing. If you’d like to come in for a complimentary consultation with our Coolsculpting specialist, please give us a call.

Yes. We have the Lumenis Splendor X which works on all skin types including black skin. We also offer free consultations for the service and we do a test spot during this consultation. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Renee, Good question. Unfortunately, medical insurance does not cover the CoolSculpting treatment.
The right amount of BOTOX® can only be determined in a professional consultation. BOTOX® comes in 100 unit vials can be injected into the following areas: Forehead, Glabella (between the eyes), bunny lines (upper nose) and frown lines. Depending on your treatment area, BOTOX® units will be injected into different injection sites to produce the best treatment effect. Since everyone is different and until we see you we won’t really know the exact number of units and the number of injection sites to treat an area. During your free consultation, you and your provider will determine how many units you will need to achieve your goal. For Botox we charge $17.25 per unit but also have a monthly Botox club where you can save up to $5.00 off per unit. Please call us at 203.304.9725 for more details. NOTE: We care closed for vacation until January 2nd.
