My husband was in a motorcycle accident and needed to go to rehabilitation. I chose Easter Christian because I thought they were the best. Well I spoke to admissions a woman named Nancy. She was rude, Nasty and very unprofessional. And it's time that this woman gets a new job! Because I could tell that she didn't like it very much. But I just want to say thank you for being that way . Because now we're going to a better place. I thought that Eastern Christian healthcare center was supposed to be Christian. Well I guess not. And after reading some of their reviews I'm glad we ended up elsewhere

I was transferred to Christian Healthcare from the hospital, bedridden and unable to walk. During my first day, immediately after breakfast, an occupational therapist arrived at my bedside and coached me out of bed and on to a walker. She gave me very specific instructions on how to put on my pants and shirt and stand for the first time in almost five weeks. I was in discomfort, but she guided me, and we began my first journey via wheelchair to the state of the art and airy well-lit gym. This care, compassion and physical guidance continued for my two weeks stay from both the occupational and physical therapists. By my second week I was navigating the facility, coached on stair climbing, dressing, performing household duties from dishwashing to emptying the washing machine and navigating safely the simulated apartment in the facility. Physical therapy everyday coached with a series of exercises that increased my strength leading to greater mobility. Each day I felt more confident and comfortable with my physical mobility challenges and by the end of my second week was moving around with just the aid of a cane. This team of PT professionals all had an expertise that led to my ability to return to my home. In addition, I cannot speak highly enough of the bedside healthcare professionals from nurses, to on site doctors and nurses’ aides. Every component of this team made sure I was administered my medication in a timely manner, fed three excellent meals per day and was washed and cleaned each morning with fresh linens on my bed. As a patient I thank the entire staff for their well-coordinated effort, as I now navigate the continuous recovery process with a visiting home healthcare team. My thanks to all.

My mother was sent there for rehab for a broken hip. She spent 6 weeks there. Got minimal rehab. THEN THE NURSE/AIDE Rolled her on her side to change her and LEFT the room with her unattended and my mother fell out of bed ONTO HER NEWLY repaired hip. She was ok thank god. NO APOLOGIES- NO NOTHING. Then they released her prematurely and she fell the very next day. Went to a different rehab where they actually cared. My mother has now passed and I harbor resentment for this place. They should have cared more.
