A few days ago, I gave a review that, unfortunately, shed a negative light on Urban Recovery, but with just cause. Although our daughter successfully completed the 28 day program, it wasn't an easy journey. Her unpleasant experience was not only with the recovery aspect of the program, but also with the personnel issues in the program. As a result of my review, I was immediately contacted by staff members, Joe and Kai, who wanted to know what could be done to make our daughter's experience better. They addressed the interpersonal issues, and made sure that our daughter received the medical services that she needed. Her last few days at Urban Recovery offered positive reinforcement, and allowed her the ability to focus on her recovery efforts. Thank you to the staff (and residents), who turned our daughter's negative experience into a positive experience, so that she could leave the program in a better state of mind, and now looks forward to what the future has to offer.

Desperate and in need to find a compassionate facility for a family member struggling with addiction, I did the necessary research and found Urban Recovery! I worked with Joe to make the admission possible! Joe is phenomenal!!! I cannot say enough good about him... compassionate, patient, readily available, goes above and beyond - this admission honestly wouldn't have been possible without him. My relative has now been admitted and starting treatment... I am hopeful! Hopeful because Urban Recovery has a track record of success 🙌 One day at a time, one step at a time, many prayers and people that care like Joe! I am so truly thankful to have found them 💓

I arrived at Urban Recovery Aug. 23 & stayed til the 29th. I was treated very well there, respected and understood. The place is very well kept, food was pretty good and the staff was helpful for me to get back on the beam. Joe N was able to get me a bed the day after I spoke to him which was very beneficial for me, I am very grateful to him for that. Anywhere you go for help when you need it isn’t easy but he made it a lot less stressful for the decision that I had to make on going into a place for help. I would recommend Urban Recovery for anyone that needs help in there life and wants to better themselves. The people there do really care about what happens to you but it all comes down to you just accepting the help and getting serious with life again. I’m very happy accepting this Bridge back too life. Thank you again Urban Recovery...

If I can give NO STARS I would ! I would not recommend anyone go to this place ! They treat the patients as if we have no worth because of our situation. All they care about is filling up as much beds as they can. I’m homeless and while being there my room mate caught Covid ..without sanitizing the room they quarantined me and another girl in the same room as the girl when we were negative …locked us in there with her for 24 hours a day because they were scared to catch Covid mind you me and the other girl did not have Covid so we should of quarantined in a different room away from that girl. She would cough and throw up all night. After one week I did finally catch Covid because of them so I discharged my self. They were mad I was leaving AMA so they lied to me and gave me a bag which they said my belongings were in there ..made me stand outside to wait for it. My shelter is almost two hours away : when I got back to my shelter I realized they kept my credit cards , debit cards , State ID , cigarettes, a whole other bag of cloths , my kids Mother’s Day cards , pictures , flat irons. I can go on and on…I called them to report what happened and asked if I can come get my things..for 3 weeks they would beat around the bush acting like they have to find it ..the manager that runs the place I would text him everyday ..he ignored all of my text messages , all of my calls when all I’m trying to do is just come get my things. It’s funny cause before I went into that program I was texting that manager asking him if he can take me in the same day..when it involves them making money they’ll write back in 3 seconds ..but when it involves something personal like me trying to get my things you’ll never here back from them again. The managers name is GUSS . I wouldn’t recommend anyone come here. I wasn’t the only one who experienced something like this ..for one the whole place had Covid..they had no controll over that situation because they were quarantining people who were negative with people who was positive ! I can promise you if you go to this place you will leave with a crazy story !
