Yes xrays are first come first served. But check for the hours before you go.

The results are sent to the doctor who ordered the test and it is written in medicalese language so only a doctor can understand it.

It depends on what you are going in for. If just for X-ray's, then yes. Anything else, you need to make an appointment.
Call them and ask. You should always add your appointments to your calendar.
