Part of the famous Comedy Cellar. No phones or smart watches allowed until the show ends, but you'll keep them in a sealed envelope during the show. Our show lasted for almost two hours with six different comedians on stage. The basement room fitted about 200 people, but make sure to reserve your tickets in advance. The cover charge of $14 per person was added to the minimum order of two items per person, so you can expect to spend around $30 per person for your visit.

Cozy, basement comedy club with a good view of the small stage from just about any seat or table. We went on a Sunday and all three stand-up comics plus the MC were hilarious. We just got drinks but many people were having appetizers as well.

Fantastic experience and great comedy. Steve (from the Comedy Cellar) highly recommended it. Thank you for the great experience and great comedy show!

They no longer have the band which is a bummer.
That would be nice. I bet the owners would like that if it pays. But ,at this time, comedy only
Only comedians. Music is supplied by pianist for introduction
Yes
More than sure 21+ there is a 2 drink minimum and I did not see any kids or teenagers there.
I wasn't asked for any proof of vaccination a couple weeks ago, but things might be different now.
There is no more live music at the Village Underground. Only stand up comedy.
No
You need a reservation for the amount you bring. It will determine how they set up for the shows. I would call them or just make another reservation. They open the show to anyone outside to fill seats that don't get reserved.
There is a high probability of foul language and sexual comments. So your call
Do they still have open mic wvents?
Open Mic night was Discontinued about 2 years ago. But I think you can find Ron grant at the Cafe Wah? Or maybe that's cheryl pepsi
The village underground no longer does music.
Comedy Sadly the days of solid live music at the VU being a show stopper on Thursday, Fri and Saturday, are over. That band was by far one of the best bands ive seen in nyc. Wish they'd bring that back... Id happily pay a slightly higher entrance fee to see that come back...
A little bit of everything! They do live bands when there are shows in the basement, which is outstanding! First floor has 2 sides. DJ in the Moroccan room playing all genres to keep ur feet tapping while enjoying the comfy chairs. The bar/pool room play all the latest, while the video plays on flat screens. Great spot, u won't be disappointed!
Parties up to 15 people are allowed.
Did you mean book tickets for a performance?
No. Not at the Village Underground. I don't know where Ron Grant does his open mic shows now.
No dress code. Casual is fine.
Yes it's great had my last4 b-day celebration there. 60th,was this yr. No dress code, price depends on the day you attend. Fri-Sun is more. Mon Tue and Wed r under $20 weekend run up to$20-25. 2 drink or food order required. Olive Tree on location
The only way you wouldn't fit in is if you're the type that hates having a good time.
