I've been going to Chelsea music hall for several years. I love that they have quite a mixture of events, Hip hop nights, House music and live music. They have a website so it makes it easy to see what's on their calendar. The space is perfect just big enough. I've grown to know some staff from frequency: Eric , Johnny, Roy all extremely helpful!! And always at attention ready to help, even their guards are great! As a native New Yorker it feels great to have a space I can attend that I know I will enjoy and feel completely taken care of and safe.

Can of beer was $11, and going to a 9pm show where the show ended at 9:58pm and then were immediately kicked out by staff felt very strange. I understand it was to clear the room for the next act, but it was a DJ set where I felt like we could have lingered, bought more drinks, and hung out. It was jarring to be yelled at right after a fun show, with the lights turned on. However, I really liked the space and the feel of the room as a music venue.
