Excellent doctor. Great bedside manner. Worked well with my one year old. Didn't prescribe unnecessary medicine or do unnecessary exams.

Had an appointment for my 6 year old son this morning for regular check up. The rude and pushy receptionist gave me papers to sign and asked me to sign the refractive form for refractive test that costs $50. I told her I am not interested in the test. Hence, refused to sign. Few minutes later, the manager approaches me and asks me to step out and says my son can’t see the doctor today if I don’t sign the refractive form and pay the $50. Basically , the rude receiptioinist along with the lady manager forced me to pay for the refraction exam which i did not want or needed for my son. Why should my son be prevented appointment from seeing a doctor because parent declines to get a refractive exam for their child ?! I informed Dr. ZUi that I was forced to pay for the refractive exam fee before seeing her that my son did not need. Patients should NOT be forced by scammers for exam they not do want! Dr. Zui- thank you for your great work!

Excellent Doctors. Ladies at the front desk are excellent. Unfortunately, you guys should really stop recommending to purchase glasses a few doors down from at Little Optics . The Office manager at Little Optics is incredibly rude and arrogant. She seemed annoyed that I entered the store. Your establishment is so professional why recommend Little Optics that lacks professionalism.

Dr Lichtenstein is an amazing doctor, very competent and great with nervous children. Hard to get an appt with him, but he is worth the wait and the trip to queens. Easy parking around the fresh meadows office.

Yes, we participate with most Fidelis insurances. Please call 718 468 9800 10-5 M-Th, 10-4 on Fridays and we’d be happy to help.
Hi. While we do not participate with Emblem (HIP or GHI), our fees are relatively low and sometimes not much more than co-pay/deductible with Emblem.
Hi Mr. Meyerowitz, Brown's syndrome is a mechanical problem due to a restriction of the superior oblique tendon (usually, it is too tight). It can not be made better with glasses. Surgery is the best option if there is a significantly abnormal head position. However, most children with Brown's never need surgery - the head position is usually not that great and, as they grow taller, the inability to elevate the eye typically becomes less of an issue. In 20 years, I've seen exactly zero adults come in with Brown's syndrome needing surgery who could have benefited from surgery as a child. This is a common report amongst my strabismus specialist colleagues. Good luck - and we're happy to see your son, if you like.
Please call for an appointment - our super-friendly and excellent scheduling staff is available from 10-5 daily. The complexities of insurance referrals, etc. make walk-ins impractical.
