My dad has only been here a day. Too early for a full review. I will say I was aggressively covid tested before entering (which was comforting), however my husband arrived 15 minutes later and walked right through without any screening. My dad rang the call button and it was 15 minutes before anyone came to assist (and I think she was just passing by and we flagged her down). In our case a family member will be there every day to check up on him. I will update as the time goes by. He needs careful attention and I will absolutely review as I see how they respond. *****UPDATE****** My father spent 6 weeks at Sun Harbor. There was a major fruit fly issue throughout the facility during this time. I had to reach out to the Administrator several times for various, serious issues. I had to bring my dad to an outside Doctor appointment. They insisted i get an ambulate to take him because he was on portable oxygen and they did not want me to drive him. I arranged for all of this and when we got to the Doctor, they tested his pulse ox and it was low. But no problem because we have the portable oxygen. THE TANK WAS EMPTY!!!!! I heard other various patients yelling from their rooms for assistance. I would go tell staff and would get responses like “I was just there. He is fine” (even when the patient clearly was in distress. I have a list of other things but honestly, it is pretty long. I think my rating speaks volumes.

My husband was gone to rehab for two weeks but instead of rehab they put him long term with out any any reason stayed there 5 months . He was on bed no rehab was told that he can’t do it . The most painful part was when during that time he got COVID there then they send him to hospital and were not ready to take him back after 20 days .I was really shocked and then after request they take him back . Finally I brought him home within two weeks he is able to walk go to bathroom by himself . V bad experience was in Sunharbou.

Disappointed, dad was functional and they put him in long term nursing home and he was on bed 24 hrs. We brought him home and he is back on his feet with in 3 weeks. Their justification was he can’t walk again. Very disappointing experience.

My visit to Sunharbor Manor today was a very Pleasantful visit, Everyone there was so nice.
