I called a multiple times & no help with my problem they just made it worst by cutting trees & leaving them on my lawn for almost 2 weeks. If there was another company I would switch over to a new company.

Prioritizes cities over towns to fix outages, so if you live rural, then you are out of luck. Doesn't offer reimbursement for lost groceries. The 'customer service' hits you with an 'I don't know' response to questions about when outages will end, no eta aside from when it's so far away that your life is ruined, (this one is claiming it will take 5 days). This is the problem that occurs when a company has no competition.

Two O&R vehicles assessed the dead thin tree that caused the power outage on my block and still not resolved. No power and no trucks in sight and we're losing a whole refrigerator full of food. Who's going to reimburse us for this loss? Yet, if you can't pay your utility bill they won't hesitate to shut you down. Everyone around our block had their power restored and we're still waiting.

You probably have a smart meter in which case they already know about the outage.
Call them to find out
If your hot water heater is not inside the house it may be that it's working much harder to keep the water heated. Mine was under the house and I found that even with wrapping it the hot water heater struggled to keep up with demand in the winter. I'm not an expert, just putting an idea out there.
