They had no idea how to check in a patient. Had no idea which room to be sent to though only one other patient was present at the time. Doctor spent 30 min writing a novel for a second nurse to come in and ask the exact same questions. No one knew how to draw blood. As always answers weren't given. But for once the nurses had great bedside manners.

I’m in heart failure from covid. 2cnd trip to er for help. Can’t breath. I live in Chilhowie. They ask nw why did I come there. I had to stop three times walking out. No wheelchair help. But when I stopped women sitting in their highnends ask dud I need to be readmitted. I didn’t have breath to respond to their stupidity and lazy botgerment. All I needed was fluid pills. Blood pressure med. but FLUUD OULL NAIN TGING. My lungs are full f fluid. Ivv be was drowning. They wouldn’t write me anything until spending money on X-rays and bloodwork. My God my legs looks like elephant feet. Finally doc had to admit I was in heart failure and write fluid oull script. The women called it into wallgreens and they were closed. When I called to ask them to transfer script pharmacy elsewhere. They said no and hung up on me. I called wallgreen in elizabethton and the pharmacist called them and they had to give her numbers. So I had to drive there. They costed me an extra $$25 in gas to get my bottles of pills to get fluid outta my body emough to breath. Hung up on me. Was gonna name hecwaur til today to get scripts. I could’ve died last night without them. I couldn’t breath they kept me forever and made sure I Walgreens was closed. Could’ve gave my e first dose before I left. 3rd world. 3rd world. Judgment days coming.

Had an appointment that was rescheduled back in first week of April to Today April 21 !! What a disappointment 😪!!!! I was waiting on a Stress test but when I got there no stess test they wanted to do another test that my doctor had ordered they needed to do some training, plus I called Melinda at central scheduling office she had no idea what was going on i reminded her that she had left me a voice message she said was it someone else?? I asked her was her number 431-1177on the voice message she stated that Tim Johnson County dept pft needed to be out of Town to put me on the schedule for the week of April 19 so she schedule me for 21 which was today plus Tim was in a rush to get me in and out will not be going back to this place could say more but whats the use???e what a disaster talk about stress !!!

My husband and I were recently visiting Mountain City from NY when my husband became ill. We went to Johnson County Community Hospital. The wait was less then 5 minutes and the care was excellent. The Doctors were great and the Nurses were outstanding. We couldn't have been more pleased with this facility.
