Went into this store to look for a few things for our cabin we rented. I get it that prices are going to be higher due to the long drive suppliers would have to make, but it is to the point of gouging the customers. A frozen Marie Calendar dinner that's $2.25 in Boise was $9.00. Most of the products either don't have a price tag or are wrong once you get to the register. Once I got to the register, barely got a grunt out of the cashier. Having a monopoly on this type of business doesn't mean you should operate like this.

Ever since their competition down the road closed, this place has enacted a policy of downright price gauging. Some examples: $28 for a flimsy phone charging cable made in china, $7 for a yogurt, and $14 for a box of tampons. The prices listed often are significantly higher at the cash register. This is the only place to shop within an hour’s drive, so make sure you stock up before you get to town.

We have been here several times. Good selection of items to choose from. Prices are a bit higher but with the location being in consideration, it makes sense. The store in lower Stanley has competitive prices to this store that you can also consider going too. We stopped in over Memorial Weekend and our experience coming in was fine but the music they had playing was some type of rap that was decently annoying to listen too and was not family friendly. Highly unprofessional and was inconsiderate of those employees that were staffed that evening.

Mountain Village is the place to go in Stanley if you need a grocery store. The staff has always been friendly and the store generally stays supplied with the basics. Selection is not great and the prices are inflated, but that's to be expected in a small isolated recreational town like Stanley. I've been shopping here for over 20 years and it's my go to place when I'm in pinch for food, ice, toilet paper, etc.

Yes but not sure of price.
Can't say for sure but after 20+ summers in Stanley, I've never seen any dry ice for sale.
