A really incredible gym that is definitely worth it's day pass/ membership price. It has unusually tall lead and top rope walls and a good variety of wall angles, sadly no roofs though. Boulder sets were creative and challenging! Aside from the climbing, there is a beautiful courtyard, weightlifting and yoga studios, kilter and moon boards and plenty of cardio equipment. The top floor also has a cafe that serves beer and has some nice mountain views. Great gym and overall space.

As a preface: I am a tall and lanky climbing who has climbed for one year with a lot of skill on technical problems and less focus on strength. In my opinion it’s a fine gym. Personally I want to like it, so much but the 5+ orientation video you have to watch before filling out a waver feels like it takes forever and it feels like a waste of time for anyone who has ever climbed before. The day pass was pricy and didn’t include anything. 31$ feels absurd for a day pass. Especially when you have to pay for classes or tests in order to do anything other than bouldering. As for bouldering it was okay but very strength focused leaving me next to nothing to climb outside of low grade problems which was often occupied by other people due to crowding. While it did offer up to v11+ which is uncommon for most gyms I see, nobody was sending them making it feel like a waste of space. As for the employees they did their job fine although I only interacted with them briefly. Frankly, I’m just disappointed I spend 31$ Just to feel discouraged about climbing.

This gym is the worst of the Salt Lake gyms. I've only bouldered there but the setting was bad and the holds were worn out and polished. If you do make the mistake of going here, don't buy a punch pass because they expire. I bought one right before covid hit. They extended the expiration date for 3 months but they weren't even open! The pass expired while they were closed. Management is not friendly here, spend your money elsewhere.

We've canceled our membership. Half of the machines are always broken or very unsafely maintained and I've hurt myself on the untightened and unlubricated treadmill belts so many times that we avoid them entirely. No one wants to hit their face on the dashboard when the treadmill belt snags while running. Because of this, I doubt that a single staff member is actually doing their job. Safety should be #1 at a gym, especially when heavy weights and motorized equipment are involved. It's a toss up whether the staff member you're working with is going to be friendly or very nasty. The woman with the curly dyed hair is the worst offender and should be fired immediately. This gym is always FREEZING yet the staff always give a fake crooked smile whenever we ask to turn on the heaters. Yet they never even turn them on. To make matters worse, the fans are always blowing the FREEZING AIR everywhere, and they give the same fake smile whenever we've asked to turn off the fans in chilly temperatures. Yet they never turn off the fans either. It takes only a minute to do so.

No. All the boulder problems end at the top of the wall or a specific hold marked with tape. You can drop back to the mat or use big handle holds to help downclimb back to the ground.
