That fish I can say nobody fries fish like my granny but this place sure is close. I love the swamp water but the red beans and rice needs more seasoning. Let’s not mention the peach cobbler that they served to me hot I almost cried it was so delicious, I like this place a lot. I felt I was back at home with my aunt and granny’s and let’s not mention the prices are great KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB GUYS

I haven't visited Ma Harpers in a few years but I am glad I came back today. Everything was really good. I still can't get how good that catfish tasted out of my mind. I will definitely not let this much time go by before I come back. ♡

The best Cajun food in America. Not only do they have great food they also have wonderful staff.

My original decision to visit San Antonio first was when I saw Ma Harper's Creole Kitchen on Diners,Drive-Ins and Dives on the Food Network. It did not disappoint. The gumbo was as advertised. Lots of shrimp and sausage a little spicy and the cornbread is a good complement. The catfish was cooked very well and hot as was the jumbo shrimp with a kick of spice. The rice and beans did not have as much flavor as I would have expected, but I have nothing I have eaten to compare them to. If you are looking for fancy this is not the place. If you are looking for good food, you will enjoy!

Just watched Ma on Diners, Drive ins and Dives. She is so freakin adorable! Unfortunately, because I care for a domestic zoo filled with furry critters I don't get to travel but if I did I'd stop in to see Ma and taste that tasty looking cuisine then ask Ma if I could give her a big hug.
No, but it's about a twenty minute drive up on I-35 and actually it is only two blocks from the I-35 access Rd
Ma is checking body temperatures and asking all guest to use the provided hand sanitizer at the front door.
No, just gumbo, rice and beans, po boys and fried fish and shrimp. Very limited menu, but good
Yes I believe they do.
Yes they are. I just went last week.
No
Michael Ramirez unlikely... but I would call.
