Heather, because of the issues around the pandemic, our hours are now Tuesday thru Saturday 11am - 3 PM. However, we are closed on Sundays and Mondays and Holidays. We will not be open on Labor Day. I hope you will visit us on the days we are open. We welcome you and would be glad to have you attend.

That may be possible, APEX Museum had an exhibit on Black Inventions, I saw Hidden Colors, they talked about Black Inventions. I have info on Black Inventions, but it in storage. The Smithsonian has a nice selection on Black Inventions. Check out APEX myseun and the A frican American Museun in DC.
The museum really focuses on African American contributions to S.T.E.M. They also show a movie that shares the historical background of the location. I enjoyed the museum and hope you will as well 😊.
No it isnt free for Black History month. The Civil Rights Museum is free this month
