Clean quiet space to do my end of year paperwork. Very patient/kind person at checkout desk who gladly helped my special needs daughter get a library card (& answer her numerous questions). Her matter of fact respectful help meant the world to me. Bathroom also clean

No card to enter, however you do need a card to checkout books.

Are there specific hours for Library card renewal?

Jeannie Wasserman | Oct 7, 2018
Teresa Bueti | Oct 7, 2018

You can sign up for a card any time the library is open, but right before closing might be hectic, so try to avoid doing that.

How is the selection of books? Is it a vast collection or small? I'm used to the NY public library, how does it compare? Also, can you request or put a hold on a book for pickup at a home library? Thank you for your help! 😊

It's not a "vast" collection, but patrons have access to all the libraries in Westchester, and beyond if necessary. Books can be placed on hold from, and sent to, any of the libraries in Westchester.
