Although I had to wait d/t an emergency which required attention, once seen, you are provided with individual attention. The room was sanitized after each case. Ms R. Gilhousen, CRNP, was very thorough, listening to my symptoms and addressing treatment options. I was pleased with her efficient caring. This is superior to an emergency room for many situations. I have been here in the past . I highly recommend the facility and the staff. Thank you. Dana Basse, Retired RN

If no stars were an option, that is what I would rate this facility. They told me I had to register over the phone and then wait in my car for them to call me in. I waited forty minutes. When I got there, only a few cars were in the parking lot. In that forty minutes that I waited, I watch five people pull in and then walk in. Coincidentally, when I called to check when I would be seen, I was told there were five people Infront of me. Needless to say, I left and got right into urgent care, no problems or wait.

If I could I would give this place zero stars! I tried to put this bad experience behind me but receiving a bill one year later for the visit has rekindled the horrible experience I had. On 9/13/21 I visited this center to get a Covid test to be sure I was negative since we had traveled to the area from Fl for a reunion. I had been sick for a week already with a horrible cough and hadn’t slept for 7 days. I had a tele health visit with my PCP in FL but the medicine he wanted to prescribe me had a narcotic in it and you can’t prescribe over state lines. I called there before going to see if it was a prescription they could do and they said yes. I saw a Dr ( I will leave her name out) and I was indeed Covid negative and she gave me a script for the medicine for 3 days so I could stop coughing and get some sleep. I took it to a pharmacy near where we were staying and it wasn’t accepted because the dr had stamped her signature and it had to be physically signed. I called back to this medexpress and explained to them what the pharmacist said and they asked me to return and they would give me a corrected script. It was 7:30pm and they closed at 8 and we were 45 min away so they said they would put the script in an envelope at the front desk and I could pick it up in the am. After another night of coughing and not sleeping we returned in the am and the script was not there! All they could say was sorry and the doctor on duty would not write a new one cause she hadn’t seen me. I was so upset. I hadn’t slept in 8 days and was so sick! Now almost a year later and I’m getting a co pay bill!! This place does not care about sick people. They just want your money and not provide a service. Don’t waste your time!!

In order to ensure individuals receive the highest-quality care and treatment, all individuals seeking care at MedExpress for known or suspected COVID-19 cases will receive an examination by a MedExpress health care professional who will determine if testing is needed and which testing method may be most appropriate, including rapid antigen and laboratory send-out PCR COVID-19 testing. Please note that for the most accurate COVID-19 test results, the CDC and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) recommend that individuals who are not showing symptoms, but who have had close contact with an individual who has tested positively for COVID-19, wait five to seven days after the known exposure to get a COVID-19 test. Additionally, the CDC and AAFP recommend self-quarantining for 14 days after a known exposure to COVID-19, even if no symptoms are present.
