I am sorry you are unhappy with our return policy, but as a small independent business, we are not in a position to give refunds or credits on shoes that are no longer salable because they have been worn. If the manufacturer will give us a credit for the shoes, then we will give you a store credit for the full amount that you paid. In most cases, the manufacturers will honor warranty claims if they are made within a reasonable time of the shoes being purchased. Even if the problem is just a poor fit issue rather than a defect, they will often authorize us to issue a credit if the return is made within the sort of time that you have had the shoes. We appreciate your business and hope that we can fit you with some replacement shoes that will be comfortable for you.

Hello Michelle......we don't carry size 5 in all styles/colors, but we do have a few in stock. In the case of the European-sized brands such as Naot, Birkenstock, Rieker, Dansko and Aetrex, we do carry some size 36, which is equivalent to U.S. size 5 to 5.5 depending on the brand. If we don't have a shoe that you like in stock in your size, we would be happy to special order a pair for you. There is no obligation for you to take special ordered shoes and there is no deposit required. Thank you for your interest in our store. We don't carry shoes in narrow width, but we are happy to special order them if they are available. Unfortunately very few manufacturers offer a women's size 11.5 in any width. We would need to identify the brand and style that you are interested in so that we can check availability for you. It is more likely that we could find your size in a sneaker than in sandals or regular shoes. Please stop by the store so that we can do our best to help you. Regularly priced shoes may be returned within 7 days of purchase for a refund. If returned after 7 days but within 30 days, a store credit will be given instead of a refund. Returned shoes must be in 'as new' condition and not worn outside your home. Refunds are not allowed on shoes purchased at a sale price. Only a store credit will be given on these. We don't presently carry Hoka shoes, but we are considering adding the brand before the end of this year. At the moment Brooks is our best selling brand of sneakers. Thank you your inquiry. Yes, we can order shoes ahead of time. Even if the style/color is not one that we normally carry, we can still order them for you provided that they are a brand that we carry. It generally takes 10 - 14 days for special orders to arrive at the store. We should know within a day or two after receiving your order whether or not the manufacturer has the style/color in your size and available to ship. Dear Connie, thank you for your inquiry. Returns of shoes are accepted if they have not been worn outside. Accessories returned must be in "as new" condition. Returns must be within 7 days for a full refund and up to 30 days for a store credit. If a warranty claim is being made for a possible defect on shoes that have been worn, we will request approval from the manufacturer before issuing a store credit. Some manufacturers will honor a warranty claim for a reasonable time beyond the initial 30 days on a case by case basis. A receipt is helpful for any returns, but not essential, provided that the date of purchase is known. We will then be able to find our copy of the receipt.
