I got threatened with a knife back in the summer of 2019. I was so scared about that experience that I didn’t tell anyone about it until about 2 days later. Even when I eventually did, the camp staff said that I should have known how to deal with the situation, and didn’t even punish the kid because he was apparently autistic. Other than that experience, the camp was basic, and the food wasn’t that great. Camp staff, and merit badge councilors were too laidback for my liking.

We went with a group of young women. The staff were excellent. The activities were fun. Good food. The camp is in a beautiful area. The one thing is the outhouses in the camp grounds. There are flushing toilet in the main cabin where you eat but the building is locked at night. The dilapidated, disgusting, poorly maintained, toilets that are not the same shape at the hole cut below them, wood that gives and is soft when you step on it "biffies" were inhumane to say the least. The girls actually preferred going to the bathroom in the woods rather than use the building that caught your gag reflex as soon as you opened the flimsy slat of wood for a door. Other than that, I would recommend this camp. It is beautiful and well run.

Excellent camp. I have been here several times and enjoyed it. Sad to see all the Boy Scouts classes gone, but well put together for a youth group. My 11-13 yr old young men group had a great time!

Beautiful lake! One of my favorite scout camps! It's legendary!

I've had kids working there for several years. I always hear about fish getting caught, and they've sent pictures of some of the big ones they've seen.
